All bedding is provided, but if you find it difficult to sleep on a normal pillow, you may have to bring or buy your own.

We will arrive in Borås on the 17th of August. Do you have to rent the whole of August then?

We can divide the months of June and August which are most often in question. We usually do not accept for shorter periods than entire semesters. If you have a question here feel free to give us a mail or call us.

No, you don’t have to, but you must be a student.

There are several good grocery stores. Some bigger and some a little smaller. We are happy to accompany you and show you where to go if you want to shop a little more when you have arrived in Borås.

Are you insured as a student?

We have insurance for the house/apartment. As an exchange student, the university has insurance and if you are an EU citizen, you also have certain insurances that apply. If you are unsure of what applies, check with your insurance company and/or the University of Borås.

Do I have to clean?

There is a cleaning schedule. In the kitchen, you clean up after yourself immediately. Cleaning other spaces is shared with the other students.
When you move, you do a moving cleaning. Garbage bins outside the house divide the waste into different categories.

How to book a room?

You mail us a notification of interest and tell us a little about yourself and which room you are interested in.

We send out a simple contract (if you get the room) that you sign. When you have paid the first month’s rent, the room is booked. No deposit required.
